Three Palestinians Killed in Israeli Shelling of Gaza


Two Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday have killed three Palestinians and injured several others in the eastern and northern parts of Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli jets launched a missile toward a group of pedestrians near a mosque in eastern Gaza, killing two and wounding others.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian was killed when another strike hit an electricity company vehicle in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qedra said.

At least 2,136 Palestinian were killed and over 11,100 were injured since the outbreak of the Israeli offensive in Gaza, which today entered its 51st day. Of the fatalities, 577 are children, 263 women and 102 elderly people, according to al-Qedra who added that 108 Palestinians were killed since Tuesday when Israel violated a truce agreement between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
