Malaysia Targets 10 Million Deals at Mongolian Trade Fair


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuala Lumpur August 26 (QNA) - Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) hopes to win around US$10 Million business deals at the Mongolia Trade Fair. Matrade Business Services and Building Materials Director Ong Yew Chee told Bernama news agency that the Corp would co-ordinate the participation of ten Malaysian firms at the Ulaanbaatar Partnership International Trade Fair 2014 from September 11 to 15. Companies from food and beverages creative logistics and professional services sectors will participate in the Fair; he told a media conference here. Ong said Mongolia is an important emerging market and one of the Asia's fastest-growing countries. Malaysian firms should tap this market further in their quest for global growth and expansion plans. Malaysian exports to Mongolia show an average 30% growth rate around since 2009 he added. (QNA)
