Ukraine President Dissolves Parliament


Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, has signed a presidential order to dismiss the country’s parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, and set the date for the early parliamentary election on October 26th.

The early parliamentary elections is a part of the peace plan, said Poroshenko pointing that the main element of his peace plan is the political dialogue with the pro-Russia separatists in East Ukraine Dissolving the Parliament was one of the pledges made by Poroshenko during his presidential elections campaign in May.
