Kuwait's inflation increases 2.7 percent in July


(MENAFN) According to data released by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB), Kuwait's inflation rate rose in July by 7.2 percent compared to the same month of last year, KUNA reported.

However, the same data showed that the inflation rate remained unchanged on a monthly basis.

The data showed that inflation rates were up in the sectors of tobacco and narcotics, household maintenance, transport, furnishing equipment, and recreation and culture.

Meanwhile, inflation rates dropped in the sectors of clothing, footwear and communications.
