(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) The two suspects had an argument with the woman after the latter demanded Dh150 which they had to jointly pay her.A 43-year-old woman was allegedly killed by two Asian men after having paid sex with her in her apartment in Al Zahiya locality formerly called the Tourist Club area in Abu Dhabi recently over a dispute over Dh10. The two suspects — one of them an illegal and the other a cleaner — had an argument with the woman after the latter demanded Dh150 which they had to jointly pay her. The duo paid her Dh140 only.

Colonel Dr Rashid Mohammed Borshid Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Abu Dhabi Police said Al Shabiya police station was informed about a murder that had taken place in an apartment in Al Zahiya locality. The Homicide Crime Section of the CID which was alerted sent a special police force to the flat.

The semi-naked body of a woman was found on the bed. Her hands and legs were tied with an inner vest. There were some marks of physical attack on her head and face. The examination of the crime scene also showed that some valuable objects belonging to the victim had been stolen.

Colonel Borshid said a CID team was formed to inestigate the crime. The team identified the woman as L.M. and tracked down the suspects in a record time. They were arrested from Abu Dhabi city.

One of the suspects was identified as G.S 24 who has been staying in the country flouting the residency law and the other was identified as M.M 21 who works as a cleaner in an office.

Lt-Colonel Juma Al Kabi Head of the Homicide Crime Section at the CID said during interrogation the suspects admitted that they had a quarrel with the woman after they had sex with her in her apartment because she insisted that they had to pay her Dh150 while they paid her only Dh140.

Since the woman was creating a ruckus they decided to assault her. While the illegal punched her on her face the cleaner overpowered her as she kept resisting them fiercely. He then smothered her face and gagged her neck so that she would not cry out for help.

The illegal then hit her head repeatedly with a glass till she collapsed and started bleeding from the mouth.

The duo tied her hands and legs up pushed her on to the bed and made off with the cash she had in her purse.

The two suspects are being interrogated by the Public Prosecution. — newskhaleejtimes.com
