(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) City Times spoke to Nadeem about the project as well as Anuryzms support slot earlier this year for one of metals all-time legendary bands Black Sabbath.

Currently recording their sophomore album All Is Not For All UAE metal band Anuryzm have drafted in some international big-hitters to ensure jaw-dropping results.
Vocalist Nadeem Bibby and guitarist John Bakhos form the core of the band which began in earnest in 2009.
The group which includes aspects of progressive and thrash in its sound recorded debut LP Worm’s Eye View in Dubai. Upon its 2011 release the eight-track set won acclaim from publications including UK magazine Metal Hammer which called it “remarkably accomplished”.
For the follow-up record Dutch synth virtuoso Uri Dijk from the group Textures returns. Also providing their time and talents are bassist Michael Lepond from U.S. progressive metal icons Symphony X New York drummer Charlie Zeleny from the band Whiplash as well as classical composer Christopher Chaplin – youngest son of the late great comedian Charlie.
City Times spoke to Nadeem about the project as well as Anuryzm’s support slot earlier this year for one of metal’s all-time legendary bands Black Sabbath.
How did your writing and recording process differ between the first and second Anuryzm albums
John and I played together in bands in high school in Abu Dhabi. When we joined forces again in 2009 he already had a lot of songs written and the challenge was to modernise those songs as well as to give my input. The first album was really good but in my opinion it was a bit all over the place stylistically. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but it wasn’t as consistent as I’d like it to be.
So would you say the sound has changed significantlyBecause we had more time for the next record it’s a lot more elaborate and it’s a much more linear and progressive journey. It’s 10 tracks a lot of them really chilled and a lot really out there. John and I thought about our evolution and wrote the album we wanted to write.
You’ve supported Avenged Sevenfold and Yngwie Malmsteen on their UAE visits but what was it like supporting Black Sabbath (who are often credited with inventing the metal genre) at Yas Island in May
That was definitely the pinnacle. It doesn’t get much bigger than Black Sabbath. We hung out with them after the press conference and had a nice little chinwag. We asked how they were enjoying their trip and I actually told Ozzy Osbourne that the first show I ever went to was in 1996 at Castle Donington in England when my dad took me to see him.
Did you see any of the Sabbath members after the show at Du ArenaI saw the guys briefly after the show but we didn’t get much of a chance to chat. But I met (Ozzy’s wife) Sharon Osbourne and she had nice things to say afterwards.
How did you come to work with Christopher Chaplin for the new recordI’m a big fan of classical music and really liked some of the work he had done. He performs on an instrumental track called Oceans Apart.
When can we expect the release of All Is Not For AllWe’re in the final stages. It’s all about putting the icing on the cake getting the mix the way we want it to be. But it should be out by the end of 2014.
Which band would you most like to support in future
I’d give my left arm to play with Iron Maiden.
