Just Falafel, the Middle Eastern purveyor of authentic street food, is expanding its footprint in Kuwait. Its second restaurant will be located in Eigaila at the Gate Mall, which is located in Fintas, 20km south of Kuwait City.
The opening is part of the group's rapid expansion plans that will see an additional seven Just Falafel stores in the territory over the coming years.
The Gate Mall is an upscale development of six floors with cinemas and retail outlets. This location will make it a popular choice with residents and tourists alike. The surrounding area is also home to a large student population.
Mike Biggins, chief operating officer of Just Falafel, said: "Having lived in Kuwait I am especially proud to be expanding in this country. The consumer is quite sophisticated in their dining habits and readily recognises quality when they see it. I am confident that they will embrace this new location and our delicious food."
This latest opening is part of Just Falafel's rapid International expansion, which will see it open a significant number of restaurants globally this year, with an increased presence in markets such as Australia and the US. The group plans to roll out over 700 restaurants in 18 countries over the next few years.
