Red carpet event held in celebration of Hamleys 6th anniversary

(MENAFNEditorial) Hamleys, the internationally renowned British toy retailer, recently celebrated its sixth anniversary in Jordan, ringing in the occasion alongside its loyal local customers. Families were invited to take part in a special anniversary celebration at Hamleys' flagship Mecca Street location on Friday, August 22.

The event took on a unique, star-studded theme this year, with a number of famous cartoon characters making their arrival down the red carpet, to the delight of their young admirers. Guests included Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Barbie and Anna from the popular film, Frozen. Children enjoyed a variety of fun-filled activities and entertainment, including face painting, balloon art, stilt walkers and karaoke singing. The event also featured an exciting dance show and a musical performance from Dozan wa Awtar. The event was broadcast live by Play 99.6 FM's Leen Halawani.

Commenting on the occasion, THE Group CEO Imad Bukhari said, "We are pleased to celebrate six years of continuous success for Hamleys in Jordan, during which the beloved toy shop has provided an unforgettable experience for customers of all ages. Not only does Hamleys provide a wide array of toys to its customers, it also serves as a reliable and trusted source for parents seeking to make their children's playtime a tool for discovering and developing their talents and hobbies. With unrivalled knowledge and insight, Hamleys promises its customers a truly unique experience at its stores."

With a legacy that extends well over 250 years, Hamleys expanded outside the United Kingdom and opened its first Jordanian branch in June 2008. With locations in Abdoun, Mecca Street and City Mall, the store features a host of toys and games that suit children and teens as well as adults. With a well-trained staff and hands-on entertainment for children, Hamleys is a special outing for the entire family, offering competitive pricing and quality toys ranging from soft toys to arts and crafts, to outdoor toys, each playing an important part in stimulating the physical, mental and psychological wellbeing of a child.
