China Imposes AntiDumping Duties on Indian Antioxidants


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Beijing August 24 (QNA) - Chinese Department of Commerce announced the start of the imposition of anti-dumping duties on Tertiary Butyl Hydroquinone (TBHQ) products imported from India over the next five years. They said that this step has been taken after receiving requests from local companies and the results of the investigation showed that Indian imports flooded the Chinese market to the detriment of the domestic industry. The substance (TBHQ) is an anti-oxidant used in the food industry. (QNA)
