Omani Hajj Mission meet to discuss working plan


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The first meeting of the Omani Hajj Mission was held led by its chairman Sheikh Aflah bin Ahmed al Khalili at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.

The meeting began with the welcoming of the heads of the delegations participating in the mission following which the working plan of the general mission and the terms of references of the participating delegations were reviewed.

A press release stated participating members discussed preparations for Hajj this year.

The Omani Hajj Mission comprises Al Iftaa religious guidance delegation administrative and finance personnel besides supervisory medical and ROP teams. 'The mission plays an important role in serving pilgrims' stated a press release.

Sheikh Khalili affirmed that the main purpose of the mission is to supervise and facilitate Hajj by Omani pilgrims.

'All members of the mission should work diligently and as per the roles assigned to them' he added.
