Bombings in N. Iraq kill 18, wound 120


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least 18 people were killed and 120 others wounded as a wave of bomb blasts ripped through Kirkuk city, north Iraq, on Saturday.

Two explosive-laden vehicles went off on the northern outskirts of the city while a suicide bomber blew up his explosive belt, a local security source told KUNA.

Among the victims are members of the Kurdistan military forces known as Peshmerga, the source said.

Meanwhile, a car bombing injured four people in Irbil and another car bomb wounded four others to the south of the city.
