(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) A Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) delegation led by Jae-do Moon South Korea's Vice Minister of Trade Industry and Energy arrived here on Saturday for a three-day visit to the sultanate.
The delegation comprises 52 members representing major South Korean companies in a fields of construction electronic cables chemicals paste gas turbines space products electronics trade electronic ads machinery heavy industry welding machines finance energy systems and medical products.
The delegation's schedule charted out by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) includes the Oman-Korea Forum to be held today at the InterContinental Muscat. The forum will present a number of papers on cooperation in the field of renewable energy the economic climates of both countries attracting foreign capital Korean policies on promoting SMEs promising industries in the sultanate and strategies for entering the Oman market.
Visiting delegation members will also hold meetings with their Omani counterparts. The meetings will focus on enhancing trade relations between the two sides.
