China's services trade deficit hits USD15.3b in July


(MENAFN) According to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE), China's deficit from trade in services grew in July to USD15.3 billion, QNA reported.

The July deficit stood at USD6.3 billion more than in June and it brought the total deficit from January to July to USD74.2 billion, marking the highest level in 2014, the SAFE figures showed.

Distinct from merchandise trade, trade in services refers to the sale and delivery of intangible products such as transport, tourism, telecommunication, construction, advertising, computing and accountancy.
