(MENAFN - Arab News) All the Friday Morning League matches at the weekend were packed with action and suspense with the winners decided only in the last crucial few seconds and by a slim advantage.

Saudi Gazette defeated Toyota 60-58 Jeddah Pards downed OBS 81-79 and Nesma beat Jokers 92-87 in the OFBL 6th Conference Bracket A& C Non-Rated Division at Timeout Sports Academy Gymnasium on Television St. Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah.

Formerly Fireberks Jeddah Pards had an astonishing performance. It was seesaw battle with both sides trading runs to take the upper hand in any stage of the game.

Jeddah Pards lost a 4-point lead going to the final quarter as OBS launched a 5-0 run to take the initiative early in the 4th quarter.

But Jeddah Pards sliced the enemy lead bit by bit and finally regained the advantage with 5 minutes to go that further increased to 8 points. Pards enjoyed a 6-point cushion going to the last 2 minutes.

But a top team such as OBS won't simply give up the fight. They used press tightened their defense and challenged Pards' free-throw accuracy in exchange for quick 2 points and a 3-pointer to close the gap to just two points 81-79 with just 4 seconds remaining. Though Pards committed a turnover in their ball possession time just ran out on OBS.

Nero top-scored for Jeddah Pards with18 points and had the support of Perez who notched 15 points. Aledio contributed 15 points and Keiron Reyes had 10 points and 15 assists in the game. For the losing team Baluyot scored 20 points and the Historillos combined for 22.

In the Non-Rated B Division Nesma also had to endure the lst seconds uprising of Maxim Jamjoom in scoring its first win in two games.

In a high-scoring tight match neither team led by more than 5 points from the 2nd period. Nesma was protecting an 8-point lead coming to the last 2 minutes but was stunned by Jokers' late run. In the end though Nesma's ability to manage the game made the difference.

Abulencia spearheaded Nesma with 35 points including consecutive threes and effectively combined with Castillo who had a game-high 5 assists and scored 17 points. De Leon had 16 points while Callueng and Dumangcas each made 8 points. Leonel scored 26 points Elmer 17 and Vincent 11points for the losing team.

Saudi Gazette banked on a crucial shot from Repollo in the dying seconds to seize the win from Toyota.

Repollo shared scoring honors with Tapia on 11 points while Trazo contributed 10 points. Gadingan and Mohammed each scored 14 points for Toyota with Arana on 10.

Group C champion Jamjoom Pharma reinforced its lineup from the last conference to move up to the Non-Rated A Division where it won its first game convincingly against Pattaya 81-74.

It was a high-scoring game as both teams displayed their shooting skills but Jamjoom simply was the better team dominating Pattaya throughout the game offensively.

Abulencia had a stellar night to score 29 points at the helm of Jamjoom. He got valuable help from Cudal and Rosero who tallied 16 and 12 points respectively. Amparado scored 17 points Romero14 and Egam 13 for the losing team.
