Man seriously injured as prank goes wrong in Sharjah


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A 29-year-old Bangladeshi worker is fighting for his life after he was injured in a prank played on him by his colleagues in Sharjah.The accident took place when the victim’s colleagues put an air pressure hose on his back in what they said was “for fun”. Such was the pressure of the hose that the victim was hurled into the air before falling down some distance away. He hit the ground hard and sustained injuries on his stomach.

Police officials said the accident was reported from a shop in Sharjah Industrial Area. Police patrols and paramedics were dispatched to the site who found the accused unconscious. They rushed him to Al Qasimi Hospital where he is recuperating in a critical state.

The police have detained the victim’s colleagues and launched a probe.
