Dubai Police GDRFA discuss cooperation


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai and the Dubai Police held a meeting to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation between the two sides.Obaid Mohair bin Surour Deputy Director of the GDRFA met with a delegation from the Dubai Police headed by Brigadier Mohammed Saeed Al Marri Deputy Director at the General Department of Community Service.

The visit comes within the framework of the department’s efforts to implement the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to improve government performance and services and establish joint cooperation and coordination between all government departments.

Bin Surour said the visit aimed to share the unique experiences in partnerships and national identity adding that the residency department always seeks ways to improve its services through comparing experiences and learning about best practices locally and internationally.

The two sides took the opportunity to stress the importance of knowledge sharing between government departments to discuss ideas solve problems and come up with creative solutions.
