Japan receives 1.27m foreign visitors in July


(MENAFN) The number of foreign visitors to Japan rose 26.6 percent in July, driven by an increase of international flights at Tokyo's Airport and, KUNA reported.

According to figures by the Japanese National Tourism Organization, around 1.27 million foreigners visited Japan last month, marking a record high for a signal month.

Among the countries, Chinese visitors doubled on-year to 281,200 visitors, while Taiwan visitors totaled 279,300, a jump of 17.1 percent, the Chinese tourism bureau said.
