12 Japanese auto parts suppliers fined USD201m by China


(MENAFN) According to China's op price regulator, a total of 12 Japanese auto parts suppliers have been fined about USD201 million on a price monopoly, Xinhua reported.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said that the Japanese suppliers punished included Hitachi, Denso, Aisan and Mitsubishi Electric.

The fine included another ten companies, with a fine value of between USD47.13 million and USD4.84 million, according to the NDRC.

Such moves by the 12 Japanese auto parts suppliers have violated the Chinese Anti-Monopoly Law, excluding or restraining market competition, the NDRC said.
