Kuwait- KRCS marks World Humanitarian Day


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is marking World Humanitarian Day by stressing the importance of having a quick and swift response to any natural or man-made disasters.

Celebrating this Day, KRCS' deputy Chief Anwar Al-Hasawi told KUNA, Tuesday, that KRCS has always strived to carry humanitarian operations to those who needs them across the globe. Its next goal is to build partnerships with many international philanthropic organizations, he added.

As part of its ongoing support to people in crises, KRCS has continued distributing aid to at least 3,000 Syrian displaced families in Lebanon.
