Sony introduces new smart 4K LED TV in Riyadh
(MENAFN- Arab News) Modern Electronics Company Ltd. (MEC) a subsidiary of Al Faisaliah Group and Japanese electronics giant Sony claimed to be the world's first 4K Ultra HD video download service provider introduced new smart 4K LED TVs in Riyadh on Monday.
The leading consumer electronics brand announced the expansion of its BRAVIA 4K LED TV lineup with the addition of three new series comprising nine models to offer customers with enhanced options while purchasing a 4K TV.
4K resolution is a display device or content having horizontal resolution on the order of 4000 pixels. Several 4K resolutions exist in the fields of digital television and cinematography.
Speaking at the launching ceremony Prince Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal CEO and president of Al Faisaliah Group Holding Company which is the Kingdom's exclusive distributor of Sony products said "a few years back an HDTV was the dream purchase for every household in Saudi Arabia. Now Sony has introduced their latest object of desire and the new centerpiece of the ultimate home theater - the brand new 4K Bravia LED TV."
"Today customers look for a holistic experience that prioritizes the best in audiovisual technology. Over the years Sony has reiterated its leadership status by delivering the best in technology through factoring in the growing requirements of customers in a dynamic industry landscape."
Echoing the sentiment Nobuo Kinoshita Sony's chief representative in the Kingdom and marketing director MEC said: "The launch of the new range of 4K LED TVs brings the best in the sound and picture on one platform taking home entertainment to a completely new level and offering customers a new and elevated viewing experience. In a nation where movie theaters are non-existent setting up a state-of-the-art home cinema is a popular option therefore we came with this 4K LEDs."
