(MENAFN) British house builder Bovis Homes is on track for a significant rise in full-year profit, Gulf Daily News reported.
Bovis reported operating profit of USD85.7 million in the six months to June 30, up 150 percent over last year.
The profit surge was led by a record number of completions and improved operating margins, which boosted first-half earnings.
The 129-year-old company has raised a pretax profit USD82.62 million, an increase of 166 percent over a year ago.
The company had virtually hit its 2014 sales target of 3,650 homes by the half-year, while analysts expect a 60 percent rise in Bovis's full-year operating profit.
