Grand Millennium Dubai has been honoured by the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) with a Certificate of Appreciation recognising the hotel's contribution in implementing an efficient waste management plan.

Timed to celebrate World Environment Day, the 17th Annual EEG awards showcased the collective efforts of institutions and corporations in reducing waste throughout the country and recycling products from paper and cans through to plastics, glass and metals.

According to General Manager at the Grand Millennium Dubai, Mr Peter Mansourian, environmental awareness is now embedded in the DNA of the hotel, with team members eager to become involved in schemes aimed at recycling, conservation of resources and more.

"The work of the Emirates Environmental Group is an inspiration to get involved, and we are delighted to be recognised as an enthusiastic supporter of their work," he said.
