Japan, Oman tax treaty put into effect next month

(MENAFN) A double taxation avoidance agreement signed by Oman and Japan is expected to enter into force next month, KUNA reported.

The treaty, which was signed in January, modifies the taxation rights between the bilateral countries to avoid international double taxation arising from any human and economic and workforce exchange.

"All necessary procedures for the entry into force of the agreement have been completed, and the agreement will enter into force on September 1," the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.
