(MENAFN) Developer Nakheel awarded a contract worth USD16.05 million to the Dubai-based Ghantoot Road contracting, Gulf News reported.
The contract was awarded for construction work to be done at Nakheel's Al Furjan master community.
The awarded contract will include the construction of a new road as well as modifications to existing roads and utilities network connection for more than 30 mixed-use plots.
Nakheel announced that the work in the plots, which are located in Al Furjan phase 2, is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2015.
