Pakistan- PTI demands PM resignation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Imran Khan, chairman of a dominating political party Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), demanded Saturday the resignation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif over alleged rigging of the 2013 general elections.

While talking to an early morning charged crowd in Islamabad, the PTI head said that he will not leave the capital and demonstrate sit-in till PM Nawaz reigns.

Thousands of activists of PTI and Pakistani Awami Tehrik (PAT) jammed Islamabad to protest against alleged rigging in the previous elections and to present their demands of electoral and administrative reform.

The government has allowed the protestors of both parties to march on the capital but warned over crossing any red lines.
