German FM Arrives in Iraq
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Baghdad August 16 (QNA) - German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Saturday arrived In Baghdad on a visit during which he will meet with a number of Iraqi officials. The German Minister said describing the insurgency as a "catastrophe" in which "a murderous band of terrorists was trying to bring the country under its control." Steinmeier affirmed his country's support for Iraqi Kurdistan in fighting against the ISIL militants in North Iraq. (QNA)
