(MENAFN) Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) board of directors approved to distribute an interim dividend of 40 percent to the shareholders, Times of Oman reported.
The board also approved the company's financial results for the period ended June 2014 that showed an increase in the net profit by 9 percent to USD170.92 million.
The interim distribution of 40 percent from the paid capital will be paid to Omantel registered shareholders by the end of trading hours of August 31, 2014.
