Unusual couples click

(MENAFN- Arab News) Old is not gold anymore. Old order changes for the new. It's time for Bollywood's Young Brigade to take over. Take a reality check. A fresh pairing is indeed paying rich dividends and new couples are emerging as the new sure-shot solution for success! And unusual chemistry is working for the blockbuster formula and no one is complaining!

New reel couples stealing the scene: A whole new pattern of hot pairing of stars is getting established. This is clicking as Bollywood trade pundits are clapping their hands with glee. Even film critics and trade analysts look out for new recipes and here unusual pairing has caught the fancy of cinema goers so that producers are laughing all the way to the bank!

If the Bollywood grapevine is to be believed there's a buzz that Alia Bhatt may star opposite the 'Kai Po Che' actor Sushant Singh Rajput in Homi Adajania's next. Having a string of hits recently Alia has touched success in a short span of time. Small wonder this leading lady is being flooded with offers. The latest khabar doing the rounds is that Alia is to work with Shahid Kapoor in 'Shaandar' and what's more she has bagged a film with her crush Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukherjee's next.

'Finding Fanny' Adjania's brand new to-be released film is in the news as it has its premiere two weeks before its release. This quirky comedy has a stellar cast Deepika Padukone Arjun Kapoor Naseeruddin Shah Pankaj Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.

First-time reel couples all set to rake in the moolah: First-time reel couple Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are all set to rake in the moolah with their sizzling chemistry in dance drama 'ABCD 2' which is a sequel to the 2013 film directed by Remo D'Souza. Here Shraddha Kapoor's role is that of a dancer.

It's been proved now undoubtedly that a new line-up of new actors are being formed specially after the flying start that movies like 'Highway' 'Gunday' '2 States' 'Ek Villain' had got.

A quick dekko at most films that have clicked at the box-office or even got critical acclaim in 2014 reveals that they had cast newcomers like 'Highway' (Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda) 'Hasee Toh Phasee' (Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra) 'Main Tera Hero' (Varun Dhawan Ileana D'cruz and Nargis Fakhri) '2 States' (Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor)'Heropanti' (Tiger Shroff and Kirti Sannon) and 'Ek Villian' (Shraddha Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra).

New talent is good news: Young talent bursting into the Bollywood workforce is nothing new. In the past new stars were created or born by the decade.

So new talent is indeed good news for the directors and producers who are desperate to latch on to pairs that click (incidentally that is both affordable and available!). And the audience's thumping applause to these newbies has only bolstered the investors' confidence.

There's more to come! Bollywood grapevine's word is out that Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab's son Sooraj Pancholi and Sunil Shetty's daughter Aathiya Shetty are the youngsters to watch out for. Sooraj Pancholi is pitched opposite Aathiya Shetty in 'Hero.'

The writing is on the wall. Unusual pairing is indeed becoming a new formula for Bollywood fare. Brand-new reel-jodis are indeed succeeding!. Sure the times are changing!
