(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Egyptian army said that it killed two gunmen during clashes, along with the destruction of four tunnels used for smuggling in the Sinai city of Rafah, which borders Gaza.
The army also captured 37 people, wanted by security forces, during a raid on several provinces in the Sinai Peninsula, spokesman Brig Gen Mohammad Sameer told a press conference on Wednesday.
Border patrol units also captured 19 illegal immigrants, who included Egyptians, Syrians, Eritreans and Sudanese.
