USD5.17 b spent on Dubai's real estate market by GCC nationals


(MENAFN) The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals invested USD5.17 billion in the Dubai's real estate market during the January-June period, Khaleej Times reported.

The majority of these investors are UAE nationals, making 2,513 transactions, which amounted to USD3.40 billion in the property sector of Dubai in the cited period.

Saudi Arabians came second on the list, spending USD917.61 million on 121 transactions. The third place was taken by Qataris who spent USD398.23 million on 113 transactions.

Kuwaitis and Omanis came in fourth and fifth places, respectively, with Kuwaitis spending USD228.38 million on 263 transactions and Omanis spending USD131.20 million on their transactions while Bahrainis took sixth place on the list.
