China's retail sales grow 12.2 percent in July


(MENAFN) According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China's retail sales grew sharply in July of the current year, Xinhua reported.

Retail sales grew 12.2 percent last month, reaching USD338.2 billion compared to the same period last year, the bureau said.

Meanwhile, the country's value-added industrial output expanded 9 percent in July, slower by 0.2 percent than the previous month, official data showed.
