Emirates Airlines to purchase USD42.5m Airbus jets


(MENAFN) Emirates Airlines received a USD42.5 million loan from three banks to finance the acquisition of two Airbus Superjumbos, Arab News reported.

The Sharia compliant loan was given to Emirates Airlines to use it in financing the delivery of its new superjumbos.

The Dubai-based carrier is the world"s largest operator of A380 jets, its fleet consists of 225 aircraft. They also have the largest Boeing 777s in the world.
