GHG net profit hits USD20.05m in H1


(MENAFN) Gulf Hotels Group (GHG) net profit rose 28.29 percent for the January-June period, reaching USD20.05 million from USD15.65 million last year, Gulf Daily News reported.

The group also signaled a 9.96 percent increase in their total gross operating revenue, hitting USD47.22 million compared with USD42.93 million in the same period last year.

In the second quarter, the company"s net profit rose 19.45 percent, reaching USD9.59 million compared with USD8.04 million registered in the second quarter of 2013.

"I am pleased to announce that the GHG received the Forbes Middle East 500 Top Companies in the Arab World award. The group ranked 351 among the 500 companies and fifth in the list of tourism and hotel industry companies," GHG CEO said.
