China's GM to recall 32,001 vehicles

(MENAFN) China's General Motors Co. announced recalling 32,001 vehicles in the country over defective safety belts, Xinhua reported.

According to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, the recall involves Buick Enclave models manufactured between April 25, 2012 and April 16, 2013.

Safety belts in the affected models' front seats may not function properly in a head-on crash due to problems with the belts pretension.

The automaker will replace the defective parts for free to eliminate the risk, as the recall starts on September 30.
