Kuwait's Agility profits hit USD45.58m in Q2


(MENAFN) Kuwait's Agility announced registering a USD45.58 million net profit in the April-June period of this year, rising 12 percent in comparison with the same period of last year, as reported by KUNA.

The logistics company also said that it earned USD1.1 billion in the second- quarter of 2014, decreasing 4 percent compared to the same period of 2013.

In the January-June period, the company's profit showed an 11 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.

"Agility continues to improve financial performance and has managed to increase profits by 12 percent in the second quarter despite the continuous slowdown in the world economy and the decline of demand on logistics," said Agility's CEO.
