UAE- Nawaz Sharif will no longer be premier on Sept 1: Qadri

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) He said he did not want to wrap up the current system instead his efforts were aimed at breaking the nexus between business and the government.Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that the ‘revolution day’ will come forth before August 31 adding that on September 1 Nawaz Sharif would no longer be the prime minister of Pakistan.

Qadri flanked by veteran politicians Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chudhry Pervaiz Elahi was addressing a Press conference in Lahore.

The PAT chief said the revolution is essential to get freedom from the dynastic politics. Qadri strongly lashed out at the government accusing it of indulging in favouritism and nepotism. He said he did not want to wrap up the current system instead his efforts were aimed at breaking the nexus between business and the government.

Qadri claimed that on September 1 neither Nawaz Sharif would be the premier of Pakistan nor Shahbaz Sharif would retain his post as Punjab chief minister.

He said the Pakistan Awami Tehreek will commemorate not only the lives lost in violent clashes in Lahore’s Model Town but also those of soldiers killed in the ongoing operation ‘Zarb-i-Azb’ on August 10.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PAT will observe a ‘Day of Martyrs’ on August 10 in memory of those who lost their lives in violent clashes that broke in Lahore’s Model Town on June 1. “I want to especially say that August 10 is for Model Town martyrs. But more than that it will be about Pakistan Army’s martyrs killed in Zarb-i-Azb” Qadri said.
