UAE- Sewa extends working hours for its common services


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Sewa has put in place a plan to develop its power water and gas network stations to prevent issues of scarcity that affected some areas of the emirate.The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) has extended the working hours of its common services. The office will be operational to receive all public complaints queries and offer different services from 7.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays and from 7.30am to 1pm on Saturdays.

The decision came into effect from Tuesday.

This comes as part of the recent instruction of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to develop the services of Sewa.

Speaking to Khaleej Times Dr Rashid Obaid Jumaa Al Leem Chairman of Sewa said the authority is making great strides to enhance its services. “Sewa is now undergoing a comprehensive restructuring and development in its various sectors to provide services as per international standards” he said.

Al leem pointed out that the Sewa has put in place a plan to develop its power water and gas network stations to prevent issues of scarcity that affected some areas of the emirate last year.
