(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation distributed around half-a-million food baskets to more than 200000 families in 85 countries as part of its Ramadan Iftar campaign.One of the countries which benefited from the programme was the Republic of Togo where the foundation distributed 6000 food baskets to people and underprivileged families in the West African nation’s capital Lome throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The Islamic Cultural Centre in Lome which managed the distribution said beneficiaries of the programme expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation the UAE and its charities for their humanitarian efforts in Togo.
