206 workers found violating Labour Law in Oman Muscat tops with 83


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As many as 206 workers were found violating the Labour Law between July 20 and August 2 according to figures release by the joint inspection team in the Ministry of Manpower

The ministry's inspection teams also caught 202 workers including 71 absconding workers during the period. The governorate of Muscat had the maximum number with 83 workers found violating the law followed by the governorate of Batinah with 25.

The authorities in the ministry have initiated legal action against all these violating workers.

Also 116 workers were deported for violating provisions of the Labour Law and the ministerial decisions executing the law.
