(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ghdad August 03 (QNA) - Islamic State fighters killed 27 Kurdish peshmerga troops during clashes in northwestern Mosul a source from the Kurdish forces said on Sunday. The peshmerga troops withdrew from the scene of fighting in order to avoid further losses in their ranks the source said. Meanwhile five civilians from the same family were killed due to shelling by Iraqi government forces in the city. (QNA)
