Mazola to boost sales by 25 percent in 2 years
(MENAFN) Mazola, a regional food product brand, said that it plans to post a 25 percent growth in its sales in the coming two years, according to Gulf Daily News.
This comes as per capita food consumption in the GCC is expected to reach 971 kilogram by 2015 and 983kg by 2017.
Alpen Capital said that this resulted from the rapidly growing population in the GCC, increase in foreign tourists as well as rising income levels.
Food consumption in the region will grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 3 percent, reaching 49 million metric tons by the end of 2017.
