(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Scow August 01 (QNA) - Russian Chief of General Staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov and US Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey discussed over telephone the situation in Ukraine and other issues the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. During the call they discussed "the situation on the Convention on medium and short range missiles the situation in Ukraine and other matters." The statement pointed out that General Gerasimov confirmed Russia's commitment to "the implementation of the convention on medium and short range missiles. (QNA)
