(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The 1748438 calls registered 514236 were notifications of which 171328 were traffic reports and 185341 criminal notifications.More than 1.5 million phone calls on the emergency number 999 were made to the Abu Dhabi Police Operations Room during the first half of this year. Customer satisfaction was also on the increase with a registered rate of more than 98 per cent.

Standing at 98.88 per cent the customer satisfaction rate saw an increase from the 97.4 per cent reached in the first quarter last year. The rise was attributed to the standards of excellence from Operations Room employees’.
Head of the Operations Department at the General Directorate of Central Operations Lt. Colonel Nasser Suleiman Al Maskari also said the Operations Room received 98 text message reports from people with special needs using the 5999 messaging service.
