US Central Bank Cuts Monthly Bond Buying


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Shington July 31 (QNA) - The Federal Reserve (Central Bank) is expected to cut its monthly asset purchases to USD 25 billion from USD 35 billion set at the last meeting in June. The Slow monthly buying policy started in January where the Federal Reserve used to buy USD 85 billion worth of bonds. The US central bank left interest rates unchanged at an unprecedented rate since December 2008. (QNA)
