Deadly Morning in Gaza as Israeli Shelling Strikes UNRWA School


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Za July 30 (QNA) - A new massacre in Gaza saw 20 Palestinians killed in the densely-populated Jabaliya refugee camp when an Israeli strike hit an UNRWA school sheltering homeless Palestinians in the early hours of Wednesday. Dozens of injured people were taken to Kamal Adwan hospital some of them carrying serious wounds. Eye witnesses said the shelling directly hit a classroom. Meanwhile heavy Israeli shelling in the vicinity of Omari Mosque in northern Gaza has killed 13 Palestinians this morning including a paramedic and two children as bombing prevented ambulance vehicles from reaching the scene paramedics said. The morning's bloody theme continued in Khan Younis where 14 Palestinians were killed including nine from the same family and several others were injured. (QNA)
