Bomb Blast Injures Seven Bus Passengers in Balochistan

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Lamabad July 28 (QNA) - A bomb blast injured at least seven bus passengers in Balochistan's Khuzdar district Monday morning according to a Levies official here. The Levies official told local media that militants targeted the passenger bus through a remote-controlled bomb in Khuzdar district's Garisha area. The official said that the explosion was the result of a roadside bomb to target the bus coming from Turbat. Local people rushed the injured passengers to Civil Hospital Khuzdar. There were no rescue workers to help the injured. The condition of two of the injured passengers was said to be critical. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Khuzdar is considered one of the most sensitive districts of Balochistan where militants have been targeting security forces and national installations for more than a decade. Worsening law and order situation has forced hundreds of families to migrate from Khuzdar to different parts of Balochistan and Sindh. (QNA)
