Malaysian Prime Minister to Visit Netherlands Next Week

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ala Lampur July 26 (QNA) - Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak will visit Amsterdam next week to discuss the ongoing MH17 tragedy with his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte. Najib said in a statement Saturday that he will also discuss whether Malaysian pathologists can help expedite the identification of bodies. His statement comes as the last of the bodies is expected to be transferred from Ukraine to the Netherlands late on Saturday. He said his priority now is to ensure that the third part of his agreement with the Ukrainian Government is honoured and investigators are given full access to the crash site. Malaysian investigators who had now visited the crash zone in Eastern Ukraine on three occasions for about three hours each time were currently compiling a report on their findings. "Malaysia’s agreement with those in control of the crash site has three central elements: the transfer of the black boxes to Malaysia; the return of the human remains; and full access to the crash site for international investigators" Najib said. "The first two conditions have been met. My priority now is to ensure the third part of the deal is honoured and that international investigators are given full and secure access to the site. This will require the cooperation of those in control of the crash site and the Ukrainian armed forces." he noted. (QNA)
