Eton Institute Stands up to Help Fight Poverty in the Month of July

(MENAFNEditorial) The Eton Institute community of staff, students, instructors and patrons came together this July, to join hands and fight poverty in the UAE. Through its 'Summer for Change' initiative, Eton Institute is aiming to improve lives and highlight three important causes along the three months of summer, one of which is fighting poverty in July.

As part of this initiative, Eton Institute in Dubai, distributed over 130 Care Packages consisting of essential food items such as rice, lentils, tea, milk powder to people in need. These care packages were distributed to labourers living in Satwa with food items sponsored by a multitude of people.

In addition, Eton Institute's Students, Staff and Trainers also hosted a special Iftar for more than 130 labourers working for Toscana Landscaping and Pools. The Iftar was held at Eton Institute's premises in Dubai Knowledge Village and the guests were treated to a delicious array of dates, sweets, savoury items, juice, cupcakes, biryani and more.

The Eton Institute team in Abu Dhabi was not far behind. Care packages, toys and school supplies were successfully donated to orphans and children with a single parent, at the Al Noor Center for Care and Rehabilitation for Special Needs in Abu Dhabi.

"The response that we have received for all the three activities is overwhelming. We are very proud of what we have achieved and aim to continue doing more for local and international charities in the coming months." stated Hana Fuchs, Marketing Director at Eton Institute.

Eton Institute is still accepting donations for CARE International as part of its July donation drive. Those interested in being part of the change can donate by visiting www.etoninstitute.com/ae/summer-for-change.
