Deloitte ranked 1 globally by revenue in security consulting services by Gartner for second consecutive year

(MENAFNEditorial) Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) is pleased to announce that Deloitte ranked #1 globally, based on revenue, in Security Consulting Services by Gartner for the second consecutive year in their recently released market share analysis entitled Market Share: Security Consulting Services, Worldwide, 2013, published April 14, 2014.

According to Gartner, "Security consulting services are security-specific advisory services to help companies analyze and improve the efficiency of business operations and technology strategies for security." Gartner annually analyzes and publishes its market share and rankings for the previous calendar year across all security-related capabilities. They also assess the market size by region. The report notes, "The security consulting service market has grown from an estimated $13.2 billion in 2012 to $14 billion in 2013, with a growth rate of 6.2 percent."

"We believe these results represent a strong client endorsement of Deloitte's security consulting services," said Fadi Sidani, Enterprise Risk Services leader at Deloitte Middle East. "For us to maintain and extend our leadership position, despite aggressive competition and many new players in the field, we feel is validation of the client-centered approach that drives Deloitte's business."

"The numbers don't lie," said Fadi Mutlak, Cyber security leader at Deloitte Middle East. "And what we believe the numbers say is that clients place premium value on what Deloitte delivers-world-class cyber risk services that help them address risks and capitalize on opportunities."
