S. Korea to spend USD39b on financial stimuli


(MENAFN) South Korea's finance ministry said the country will spend USD39 billion on financial stimuli after lowering growth forecasts to 3.7 percent from 4.1 percent, Xinhua reported.

In the second half, a total of USD11.41 billion will be spent on the financial enhancement such as housing and credit guarantees for households and companies.

The South Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance said that an additional of USD2.93 billion will be spent from 2015 on stabilizing corporate bond market.
